“Kings of The Court” A History of Boys Basketball in South Dakota

Celebrating a century of state Championships in South Dakota. Using photos and footage combined with contemporary interviews, this one-hour documentary tells the story of the cultural phenomenon that is the South Dakota State High School Boys Basketball Tournaments.

The show includes accounts from players, families, sports reporters and coaches. It explores how the rules have developed, and how the tournaments have changed over the years.

The SDPB Television documentary is narrated by Mike Henriksen, 2011 South Dakota Sports Broadcaster of the Year.
