The Black Hills is full of all kinds of wildlife including deer, turkey, elk, and even mountain lions. There is a place in the northern hills that is home to some other animals that not only aren’t native to the area, they aren’t native to North America. This animal kingdom in the hills is not a zoo, it’s a sanctuary. Although it was created to save the animals, it’s also been known to calm the human soul.
