South Dakota Focus Special: Spring Floods of 2010
SD Focus - 03/25/2010
Join us for a Special South Dakota Focus on March 25th as we zero in on the spring floods of 2010. As the massive snow pack that covered much of South Dakota thaws - it has left rising water levels that have reached new heights in some areas. Governor Rounds, Col. Tom Dravland who is the Director of Public Safety, Sec. of Agriculture Bill Even will all be on hand. We'll talk about what the state has done so far to help flood victims and work is underway to stop flood waters from destroying homes, farms and communities. Also on the program an expert in flood insurance as well as representatives from the National Weather Service and the USGS to talk about our states flood history and the spring forecast. That's the 2010 spring floods on our next South Dakota Focus.
