"The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally may draw as many as 600-thousand visitors to the Black Hills this year. Most will pass through Meade County, whose year-round population is around 24-thosand people. Many local businesses depend on the economic boom that the rally provides, but this year, increasing development near Bear Butte State Park has sparked controversy between local residents, Native Americans, and large business owners.
