Dakota Digest - 04/06/2009

April is National Poetry Month, and in just a few short weeks 52 high school students from across the U-S will converge on Washington D.C. One will represent South Dakota in the national poetry recitation contest. The first place award is 20-thousand dollars. SDPB’s Julia Monczunski brings us this story about the Poetry Out Loud Project. She tells us why there’s been resurgence in reciting poetry and just how you go about winning this kind of contest.
