This week marks the 60th anniversary of the first blast on the Crazy Horse monument. The anniversary was commemorated with a ten-ton detonation that replicated the very first blast on the monument and a larger 13-hundred-ton modern day blast. SDPB’s Charles Michael Ray spent a few days at Crazy Horse following the process of blasting on the monument. He has today’s Dakota Digest.
