Shadow of Meth: Treatment

"Our series† The Shadow of Meth† continues. State officials became alarmed that almost half of the women being sent to prison had a Meth problem. Last August, the Corrections and Human Services Departments started a pilot intensive Meth treatment program to combat the problem. Up to sixteen women at one time† two groups of eight† receive treatment in a facility outside the main prison. Now legislators have approved one-point-eight million to make the program permanent. SDP?s Pat Mack reports.
