Indian Law Symposium

Dakota Digest - 03/20/2006

Tribal leaders, state officials, lawyers and students will converge in Vermillion at the end of the month to discuss Indian issues and law. University of South Dakota law professor Patrice Kunesh says USD is the only law school in the nation to hold a conference on Indian law on a regular basis. SDPB’s Johanna Sailor spoke with Professor Kunesh about this year’s Indian Law Symposium. Kunesh explains the overall goal is much broader than educating students about Indian law.
