SDPB

College and University students in South Dakota can now apply for internships with the state Legislative Research Council.

There are 22 positions open for students of all majors and runs from Jan. 14th to March 31st. This is the 100th Legislative Session in the state.

The LRC said the internship program gives students an in-depth look into the state’s government processes.

Interns receive college credit and financial compensation for the duration of the internship. If a student works every day of the session and orientation, they can make over $7,000.

The application closes Oct. 18. To sign up, you must create a free account on MyLRC+. All applicants must turn in two letters of recommendation and other requested materials.

All questions can be directed to [email protected] or call (605) 773-3251.
