Registration for the 2025 Governor’s Ag Summit is now open.

The summit is June 17 and 18 in Deadwood at the Deadwood Mountain Grand.

Organizers say it’s an opportunity for the state’s agriculture community to connect, collaborate and explore solutions to future challenges the industry faces.

Gov. Larry Rhoden is addressing topics such as:

  • The State of Agriculture in 2025 – Insights from state and federal leaders on policy initiatives impacting the industry;
  • Ag Economics – Market trends and financial outlooks affecting producers;
  • Producer-Driven Solutions – Strategies and innovations led by producers to address industry challenges;
  • Forestry Management – Best practices and policy updates for sustainable land use;
  • Global Trade & Markets – The evolving landscape of international trade and its impact on South Dakota agriculture; and
  • Producer Recognition – Honoring those making a lasting impact in the industry.

The event is free, but pre-registration is required to attend on the event's website.
