SDPB's newest documentary, Vanished South Dakota: Towns of Yesterday, has been over a year in the making and made its television premiere on Monday, August 19. People from across the state have contributed to the project, sharing stories, photos and contact information. While we would have loved to include each and every town we visited in the final documentary, television time constraints kept us to a shorter list. Below you can find the towns included in the final documentary as well as several "extras" which are available to SDPB Passport members online. Watch here.
And don't worry, we hear you when you say there are more stories to be told and exploring all of our options for doing so. Stay tuned!
