Friday is the fifth StoryCorps' National Day of Listening. Launched in 2008, it is meant to encourage people to record an interview with a friend, loved one, or member of their community on the day after Thanksgiving as meaningful gifts we can give one another during the holiday season. This year's National Day of Listening will focus on the military and their loved ones. Karl Gehrke visits with StoryCorp founder and president David Isay.
