Photographer Joe Riis, a South Dakota native, was the youngest photographer to ever work for National Geographic when he was 26. He has traveled the world to capture images of some of the rarest animals. Riis received an Emmy in 2011 for his pronghorn cinematography of the National Geographic Migration series.
