The South Dakota Humanities Council set out last fall to celebrate its 40th anniversary by creating a book project that had special meaning to South Dakotans. Co-editor John Miller shared details of the resulting book, "What Makes a South Dakotan?" on Monday. The publication was released in September during the 10th Annual Festival of Books in Sioux Falls.
