Doyle Bramhall II

Texas guitar virtuoso Doyle Bramhall II opened for Sheryl Crow at JazzFest in Sioux Falls last summer - a presentation of the Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Society.  Bramhall II was destined to play his gritty style of blues rock as his father grew up and collaborated with Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan.  Bramhall, Sr. also played drums for Lightnin' Hopkins and Freddy King.  By the time Bramhall II was 18 he was touring with The Fabulous Thunderbirds.  Two years later he co-founded the Arc Angels with fellow-Texan Charlie Sexton and members of Stevie Ray Vaughan's rhythm section.  Bramhall II recently toured with rock icons Eric Clapton and Roger Waters.  Ultra-busy session drummer Victor Indrizzo and bassist Dave Monsey joined Bramhall II at JazzFest 2013.
