The Kris Lager Band's mission is simple. They're dedicated to good music and a Real Good Time! The self-described "rock revivalists" from Nebraska groove through layers of rock, blues, soul, reggae, funk - almost everything! Kris Lager's first time on stage was with multiple WC Handy award winner Magic Slim. Lager was only 16! The band leader has a longtime chemistry with keyboardist Jeremiah Weir. Multi-talented drummer John Fairchild got behind the drums as a youngster at his Omaha church. And Brandon Miller's bass chops are as cool as his high kicks. The Kris Lager Band is instrumental in the yearly Hullabaloo Music Festival in Nebraska. Their No Cover, No Minimum Radio performance was recorded at JazzFest 2014 in Sioux Falls, presented by the Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Society at Yankton Trail Park.
