Sally Roesch Wagner is a pioneer in women's studies, the retelling of women's history, and intellectual thought. An author and lecturer, Roesch Wagner was one of the first women in the United States to receive a doctorate for work in women's studies. She is also the founder of one of the country's first college women's studies program.
She has taught women's history for 48 years. Her latest book is called The Women's Suffrage Movement. Its an anthology of historical texts with a distinctive focus.
