The South Dakota Hall of Fame will be recognizing individuals and organizations that exemplify excellence with an Acts of Excellence celebration. The event is today from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. inside the Joy Center at Black Hills State University in Spearfish.
This year, Black Hills State University is itself one of the honorees for having made environmental awareness a priority. Laurie Stenberg Nichols is president of Black Hills State and she tells us more about the campus-wide efforts to bring about a more sustainable, green future.
