In The Moment … October 26, 2020 Show 928 Hour 1
The pandemic and a turbulent summer have played a part in disturbing the regional arts scene. But they have also served to inspire artists and new art.
Torrie Allen is the president and CEO of Arts Midwest based in the Arts Midwest. In his short time in that position, he has seen our communities and the regional arts scene go on a roller coaster ride that still hasn't returned to the staging area. Mr. Allen is one of the keynote speakers during this week's South Dakota Arts Conference. He addresses the convention on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. Mountain. He's joining us this morning from his office in Minneapolis.
Arts, literature, and music reporting on SDPB is supported by the Northern State University School of Fine Arts. More information available at northern.edu
