Big Rock Park in Custer once operated an aerial tramway that carried tourists to the top of the Big Rock. When the tramway went defunct, the park was, for a time, largely forgotten.
In recent years, Custer locals put their park back on the map with the Custer Skywalk -- a trail system and staircase to an observation deck on top of the rock. SDPB takes a look at the past and present of Big Rock Park.
