The South Dakota Hall of Fame has enshrined more than 700 South Dakotans. Its mission is to champion a culture of excellence and to preserve the stories of South Dakotans who played a big part in that culture. Shantel Krebs has served in several different roles. She was elected to the South Dakota State Legislature where she introduced and passed more than 500 pieces of legislation, and served as secretary of state.
An in-person honors ceremony for the class of 2022 is in Chamberlain/Oacoma on September 9 and 10.
