The Levitt at the Falls has announced its concert lineup for the summer.

The downtown Sioux Falls venue will host 50 free concerts Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays June 2 through September 9. Blues saxophonist Vanessa Collier will begin the 2023 season.

“Levitt at the Falls is thrilled to share our 50 concert line-up with the Sioux Falls community," said Nancy Halverson, executive director of Levitt at the Falls. "This summer we’re celebrating our fifth season with an updated genre list including a new Hip-Hop and Indie Vibe series filled with dynamic musicians bringing fresh talent to the Levitt stage."

Other upcoming artists include Rowan Grace, a Top 10 finalist on NBC's The Voice, Grammy nominated jazz singer Nnenna Freelon and her son Pierce, The Arcadian Wild and more.

There are 10 different musical series planned over the summer, including Americana, Indie Vibe, Women of Song, and a Family Series.

The Levitt is also collaborating with local cultural festivals and organizations like the Lutheran Social Services of America Multi-Cultural Center and the Wokini Initiative at SDSU.

"We are collaborating on community cultural festivals and expanding our outreach and opening act programming," Halverson said. "There is much to celebrate and something for everyone to take part in during this much-anticipated 2023 summer season."

This year's concert season is presented by Sanford Health.

“The Levitt is one of the absolute gems of Sioux Falls, and Sanford Health is once again incredibly proud to be the Season Presenting Sponsor for Levitt at the Falls,” said Sanford spokesperson Stacy Wrightsman. “Seeing families and friends come together to enjoy night after night of music and entertainment brings a smile to my face and further cements our belief that the investment we make in the Levitt is a true reflection of Sanford Health’s continued commitment to positively impacting the health and wellness of all those who live in our community and our entire region."

A full list of this summer's concerts is available on the Levitt's website.
