SculptureWalk Sioux Falls awarded cash prizes to the winning sculptures of the 2023 Best of Show.
In first place, Gedion Nyanhongo's hand-carved stone statue called “Happy Family” won $3,000.

The second-place winner is a piece called “Current Sequence” by Jacob Burmood. It won a $2,000 award.

The winning sculptures were judged on artistic merit and creativity, according to a press release from SculptureWalk.
Currently, about 60 pieces of art are displayed in downtown Sioux Falls by SculptureWalk. They said over 300,000 people view the exhibits each year.
Voting for this year’s People’s Choice Award is open until Sept. 30.
