SculptureWalk Sioux Falls invites artists of all backgrounds to apply for their 2024 art exhibit.

Artists can submit up to five sculptures with their application. Chosen applicants will have their art displayed in downtown Sioux Falls. Applications must include photos of sculptures as well as an artist’s statement.

The deadline for applications is Oct. 1.

This year, the organization is celebrating their 20th year bringing art to the community. New sculptures are brought in every spring, with most of them being for sale. Since starting in 2003, SculptureWalk has showcased over 1000 sculptures and sold 226.

“We are thrilled to have just completed our milestone 20th anniversary of this beautiful exhibition with both longtime and new artists contributing,” said Jana Anderson, a curator of the exhibit. “It’s exciting to bring such unique beauty right here to Sioux Falls, and we are looking forward to seeing the talent that comes our way in our 21st year.”

Organizers say this art exhibit is the largest annual exhibit of public sculptures in the world. More information about past exhibits and applications can be found at SculptureWalkSiouxFalls.com.
