The City of Sioux Falls, Downtown Sioux Falls, Inc., and the Washington Pavilion have joined forces to offer Winter Weekends Nov. 24 - Dec. 17.
Each weekend features a theme like "Celebrate Downtown" or "Happy Grinchmas!" Activities include music and entertainment, food, and family-friendly and holiday-themed events.
“As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Winter Wonderland at Falls Park, Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation is looking forward to building upon that holiday tradition for many families with Winter Weekends,” said Jackie Nelson, Recreation Manager at Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation.
“We hope people will embrace winter, explore the outdoors, and connect with others as they enjoy the holiday season,” Nelson said.
Winter Weekends kicks off the same night as the lighting of the Christmas tree at the Washington Pavilion and the Downtown Sioux Falls Parade of Lights.
