Steve Hildebrand received the Friend of Education Award from the South Dakota Education Association last week. He discusses being surprised with the award and the work he's done for education in Sioux Falls.
Hildebrand is founder and chair of the Promising Futures Fund, which offers reading programs, experiences and more to Sioux Falls schools with high rates of poverty.
