Travel South Dakota is providing $163,110 in grants to aid the state’s tourism industry.
In the second year of the Tourism Advertising Promotion, or TAP, grant program, 19 different events and venues across the state received support for marketing.
"From local events to large celebrations, South Dakota events of all kinds will be able to use these funds to celebrate the unique parts of our state," said James Hagen, Secretary of the South Dakota Department of Tourism.

- Eurekafest
- South Dakota Chislic Festival
- Jesse James Days
- Geddes 125th Anniversary/Geddes Fur Trader Days
- Sunflower Festival
- 1880 Train Holiday Express
- Irene Rodeo
- The Haunting of Keystone
- Neutrino Day
- Sitting Bull Stampede
- Back Forty Beef and Adventure Farm
- Oahe Winter Festival
- Chinook Days
- Sturgis Art Festival and Legendary Sturgis Battle of the Bands
- Pumpkin Fest in Webster
- Mazing Acres' Fall Festival
Individual grants range from $1,000 to $10,000.
