Every year, the Bush Foundation chooses a cohort of fellows from Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and the 23 Native nations that share the same geography.
The Bush Fellowship identifies transformational leaders and guides them in expanding their influence in service of their communities.
The 2024 fellowship cohort includes Lily Mendoza. Mendoza is the founder of the Red Ribbon Skirt Society and a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe.
She returns to “In the Moment” to discuss how she’ll use the fellowship to lift up her work in Rapid City and how she'll document her journey.
