On Monday, the Minnesota Vikings extended the contract for their starting fullback – former Augustana University running back and Duluth, Minnesota native CJ Ham.
According to Ben Goessling of the Star Tribune, this is a four-year deal worth a total of $12.25 million.

Also on Monday, the Minnesota Vikings extended the contract of quarterback Kirk Cousins by two years and placed the franchise tag on safety Anthony Harris.
Ham becomes the second highest paid fullback in the NFL. Only Kyle Juszcyzyk of the San Francisco 49ers makes more. In 2019, Ham was named to the league’s pro bowl, in place of Juszcyzyk, because the 49ers were playing in the Super Bowl.
During his college career at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, CJ Ham had just north of 3,500 total yards and 35 touchdowns as the Vikings starting running back.
