Chad Stadem Leaving Washington To Become Jefferson AD

Chad Stadem Leaving Washington for Jefferson

Sioux Falls Washington head football coach Chad Stadem is moving away from his current position as the Warriors head football coach to become the activities director for the new Jefferson high school in the Sioux Empire.

In an interview with the Argus Leader in Sioux Falls, Stadem explained that while he’s excited, he’ll miss his time spent at Washington high school.

“It’s mixed, because I dearly love being a warrior. I love my players, all my coaches, it’s just a great place,” said Chad Stadem. “But at the same point, working with Dan Conrad (former Washington high school principal), who I highly respect, then being able to build a new culture is just going to be awesome.”

Stadem won state football titles with both Howard and Flandreau before becoming the head football coach at Washington. As the Warriors leader, he won three straight state titles – 2015, 2016, and 2017.

He’ll officially take over his new job on July 1st.
