Deadwood casinos recorded their first million-dollar month for sports betting since voters decided to allow sports wagering in 2021.
Deadwood sports betting numbers are up nearly twenty-five-percent year-over-year, officials said.
Previously, casinos fell just shy of the million-dollar month mark for the burgeoning sports betting market.
Wagers put on NFL games played a big part in the target finally being hit, according to a spokesperson for Deadwood casinos.
Overall, year-to-date revenues in the destination town are up 2.2 percent.
