Schwann’s Company is making a larger investment in South Dakota than previously anticipated.

In 2021, the subsidiary of CJ Foods planned to create a $500 million investment, which would lead to 600 new jobs.

Gov. Kristi Noem said Friday CJ Foods is now constructing a new regional headquarters in downtown Sioux Falls.

The new investment totals are bringing 50 additional jobs with the potential to reach 100.
