Ken Burns in the Classroom Hub
Houses a full library of classroom-ready content – aligned to state and national standards – to help students further explore the complex historical events and issues illustrated in Ken Burns’s films. To aid in distance learning, full films are now available for streaming in the hub through June 30.

On April 29 at 7:00 p.m. ET, Burns will participate in a live discussion on PBS LearningMedia YouTube, where he’ll answer questions submitted by teachers. Register here.

Tips for Distance Learning with PBS LearningMedia
PBS LearningMedia offers educators a variety of features that support distance learning, including easy searching by grade level, curriculum area, and state and national standards; integration with Google Classroom and Remind; as well as a free training webinar.

As teachers, students, and families deal with school closures, PBS LearningMedia producers and educators have come together to curate a special collection of resources organized by grade and subject area. This collection of resources helps PreK-12 educators teach the nature of viruses (including novel coronavirus), how they are transmitted and the healthy habits we can all engage in to prevent their spread.
