Directions
Gather supplies — a small branch, twigs, pinecones, etc. Optional: Make your nature party more interactive by going on a nature walk with the birthday child and allowing him/her to choose some of these items.
Use the feather pattern printable to trace and cut out several felt feathers.
Cut your first piece of twine to the desired length. Then start tying your felt feathers, pinecones, and greenery to it. You might want to tie loose knots at first until you’re comfortable with the look. Repeat, varying the length of twine pieces and pattern. Tie the twine lengths to the branch.
Tie a piece of twine first at one end of the branch and then the other. This will serve as the 'hanger.' for the branch. Hang the branch over your party table back drop or other decor areas. If hosting indoors, simply use a damage free hanging hook to hang on the wall. If using outdoors, you can use kraft paper behind the branch mobile for a streamlined look. Tip: Make the branch mobile less than 24 hours before your event if you are using real flowers and greenery.
