Celebrating One Year of Creativity and Community at Serendipity Studio

As we mark our first anniversary, we reflect on the incredible journey that has brought us to this milestone. One year ago, Serendipity Studio opened its doors to artists, art lovers, and the vibrant community that surrounds us.

From our very first workshop to the countless exhibitions that have highlighted the diverse talents of our featured artists, every moment has been filled with creativity, passion, and collaboration. We have had the pleasure of witnessing incredible art being created in our space and forming meaningful connections among artists and patrons alike.

Our commitment to nurturing a thriving artistic community remains at the core of what we do. This past year, we've hosted workshops, exhibitions, and events designed to inspire both seasoned artists and budding creators. We are grateful to everyone who has participated, shared their talents, and supported our mission.

To celebrate this important milestone, we invite you to join us for a special anniversary event. We will showcase new works from our talented artists, host interactive workshops, and enjoy refreshments together as we honor this journey of creativity.

MusicSpeaks at the Sturgis Public Library will be on Thursday, November 21st, at 5:30pm. How do musicians express thanks? This month we explore Thankfulness and the Autumnal Harvest through musical examples. We will also answer the burning question—Who is more musically thankful: Antonio Vivaldi or Ariana Grande?

The Sturgis Public Library will be hosting Books On Tap on Thursday, November 21st at 6pm at the Oasis Fireside. This month’s theme is “Relish: An Appetizer Social.” Join us for our annual November tradition where we gather to discuss any books you've enjoyed this month, despite the holiday hustle, while sharing a homemade appetizer or snack. Cooking is optional but always appreciated! All readers 21+ are welcome to join this fun, relaxed evening of good reads and tasty bites.

Join us for a delightful combination of "Baby and Me Yoga" and story time! This unique event offers a wonderful opportunity for mothers to socialize, exercise, and, most importantly, connect with their babies in a calm and nurturing environment. We kindly ask that mothers attend only after at least six weeks postpartum, allowing ample time for the body to heal. There's no need to register or pay a fee, but please bring your own yoga mat and a blanket for your baby, as our supply is limited. Babies aged 6 weeks to 24 months are welcome to join in the fun. Come and enjoy this special time together.

BASIC JEWELRY MAKING

Join artist Tara Barney with Red Door Creations in this basic jewelry making class. You will learn the tools of the trade and basic jewelry making skills in this class. You will finish the class with a fun bracelet and a pair of earrings to enjoy.

We will be using gorgeous faceted Fire Agate and carnelian beads in a color palette that is perfect for your autumn wardrobe.

No experience needed!!

The perfect group for gamers. Plenty of technology and games available. We will have laptops and game consoles available. No personal game consoles should be brought to this event.

Come show up for a night of laughs as Tyler Mathieson and Tyler Corbine take the stage at the world renowned Catalyst Theater! Two Tylers, Two Shows, One Night!
Make sure to get your tickets for either the 6 o'clock show or the 8:30 show!

Tyler Corbine is a Native American comedian from South Dakota just trying to figure it all out. His comedy blends insightful observation with personal storytelling that keeps the audience laughing. He’s performed all over the country, engaging crowds with his lightning quick wit and relatable anecdotes.

Tyler Mathieson blends anecdotal and observational styles of comedy to create entertaining and memorable stories that are relatable to every crowd.

Chair Yoga
Reach beyond books and join us at the library for this gentle and accessible yoga class that is perfect for those with limited mobility. No fee or equipment required!

We will be making different bauble ornaments just in time to decorate your Christmas tree. These ornaments are fun and easy to make.

Exciting program for those who like playing bingo and enjoy eating cookies! With this program, you get both! You will play a themed bingo, snack away on cookies and you might win some prizes!
