Join us for this year's Books and More Sale April 11th-12th! Paperbacks will be 0.50¢ and hardcovers will be $1.00 - and there will be other treasures, too! The sale will be in the Fantle Building/Center for Western Studies, adjacent to the Mikkelsen Library. All proceeds will support the Augustana Library Associates programs. We are looking forward to seeing you there and helping you replenish your bookshelves!

The Kiwanis Club of Lead Deadwood will be hosting a Lenten Fish Fry on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Christian Ministry Center (7 So. Main in Lead). Several different types of fish will be served in addition to appetizers, salads, desserts and drinks (chicken will also be available for the non-fish eater). Tickets at the door will be $15 for adults, $12 seniors & students (12-18), $6 youth (6-11) and under 5 free. (Get $2 off each ticket by purchasing in advance from any Kiwanis member until April 9). All funds will be used to support the Kiwanis Club of Lead's 100 Anniversary Legacy Project which is the renovation of Lead's Purple Park (Par Course Park). There is a garage sale for Westminster MOPS at Westminster Church across from West Middle school on April 25th 7-12 & 26th 7-1pm with most items going 1/2 off at 11 on Sat. There are over 20 families participating. There are children’s and adult items. *Many items will not have marked price, these are pay what you want, freewill donation.

Support our furry friends. Share in this annual celebration honoring Patsy, the beloved terrier of William Emery Adams. Guests who make a donation of any pet product for the Twin City Animal Shelter will receive free admission to the Historic Adams House on April 26th. Guided tours on Patsy’s Day are hourly; the first tour leaving at 10:00 a.m. and the last tour of the day at 4:00 p.m. Photos of cats and dogs available for adoption will be on display. Official chip timed 5k & 10K plus 1.5 and 3 mile walks. Sideline supporter options also available. May also form a team or run virtually. Pre and Post-race activities includes Survivor Pavilion, Remembrance Wall, food and live music. Long sleeve race shirt and swag bag.
