The Pennington County State's Attorney's Office confirmed the allegations against the Mitchell Legion baseball team include sexual assault.
The office said the allegations occurred in Pennington County.
Earlier this month, Mitchell Baseball Association canceled the remainder of the season after the allegations.
The Attorney’s Office said they don’t have an exact timeline for the investigation and will release more information as it becomes available.
