Two suspects are facing multiple charges in connection to a Sioux Falls homicide case.
Police report 29-year-old Morningstar Jewett and 26-year-old Taylor Jade Crossley are being charged with murder, manslaughter, and aggravated assault.
On July 5, the body of 63-year-old Nigussie Bulti was found in an apartment near Falls Park. Jewett was identified as a suspect and admitted to striking Bulti with a piece of wood during a fight. However, he claimed he didn’t know how the man died.
Jewett was taken into custody shortly after the incident but wasn’t formally charged until this week.
Both suspects remain at the Minnehaha County Jail with $100,000 cash bonds.
