Jackley suing Live Nation-Ticketmaster over business practices

Attorney General Marty Jackley is suing Live Nation-Ticketmaster over its business practices.

Jackley, along with the U.S. Justice Department and 40 other attorneys general, are suing the company for alleged monopolization and other unlawful conduct.

The lawsuit claims that Live Nation-Ticketmaster force fans to “pay unlawfully inflated prices for concert tickets.”

Live Nation Entertainment said that the lawsuit does nothing to help fans.

“There is nothing new in the Amended Complaint - the lawsuit still won’t solve the issues fans care about relating to ticket prices, service fees, and access to in-demand shows. We look forward to sharing more facts as the case progresses," a company spokesperson said.

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court in Southern New York.
