South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley said there is no "one size fits all" approach to juvenile justice.

Attorney General Marty Jackley is questioning online marketplace app Temu and its parent company, PDD Holdings, about business practices.

In a letter, Jackley and 20 other attorneys general ask the company to disclose whether it sells consumer data and if it employs slave labor.

The letter also asks about connections to the Chinese Communist Party, and whether American consumer data is being sold to the party.

This comes after a House Select Committee did a probe into Temu and Shein, a similar site, in 2023.

U.S. Officials have become more skeptical of Chinese-owned app, even trying to ban popular social media app Tik Tok.

The letter asks the company to provide a response within 30 days.
