Attorney General Marty Jackley is joining a coalition asking the Supreme Court to reconsider a case that deals with gun rights.
The Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a Maryland ban on hundreds of styles of firearms. That includes a ban on AR-15s.
Jackley and 29 other Attorneys General call the ruling an “infringement” on Americans’ second amendment rights.
The coalition said this conflicts with previous Supreme Court decisions that define “bearable arms” as any weapon possessed or carried for offensive or defensive action in a case of conflict.
