Local and federal officials are asking for the public’s help in locating Michelle Elbow Shield.

The 27-year-old was last seen in Rapid City in October of 2023 and was reported missing last December.

The Rapid City Police Department and the Bureau of Indian Affairs have pursued multiple leads but have yet to find Elbow Shield.

The departments are offering a $5,000 reward for information that results in aiding in finding Elbow Shield or those responsible for her disappearance.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts or the circumstances of her disappearance should contact BIA MMU Special Agent Savannah Peterson or RCPD Detectives Mackenzie Armstrong or Andrew Randazzo. Anonymous tips can be submitted by texting 'RCPD' to 847411.
