Rapid City woman sentenced for child-related crimes

A Rapid City woman is sentenced to 8 years in a federal prison for allegedly aiding and abetting the distribution of child pornography.

Thirty-year-old Krystal Kay Bulin facilitated a livestream of a 16-year-old minor engaging in sexually explicit content, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office.

She was the minor’s temporary guardian. Prosecutors said Bulin did this to make money for a speeding ticket she received.

She received $100 via CashApp as payment for the child pornography.

She is now legally required to register as a sex offender.
