Spearfish High School took first place at the 2012 South Dakota We the People competition in Pierre last month. It was the school's second win in a row. They'll compete at the National We the People Finals in Washington, D.C., in April, 2013. Spearfish High School seniors Elise Reid and Brady Jones joined Dakota Midday along with instructor Patrick Gainey.
