Two Sioux Falls women have self-published an illustrated book titled Native American Master Artist: Oscar Howe. Co-author Lois Sayre says the book has been given to fourth-grade classes in Sioux Falls and Rapid City. The authors are marketing the book online and at various tourist spots and gift shops in South Dakota. SDPB’s Victoria Wicks spoke with Sayre this weekend at the opening of the Oscar Howe exhibit at the Journey Museum in Rapid City.
