Southeast Technical College President Robert Griggs will resign this summer after eight years leading the school.
College officials said Griggs has been a key player in expanding the campus, developing new programs, and increasing enrollment and retention.
"His leadership was instrumental in securing the funds for STC's new Healthcare Simulation Center, " said Nick Wendell, executive director for the board of technical education.
Southeast Technical College is managed by the Sioux Falls School Board. The board announced a recruitment firm will assist in searching for a new president.
