The Tripp-Delmont school district is receiving EPA funding to buy an electric school bus.
The award sends more than $350,000 to the district, according to the EPA website.
The program is part of a larger bipartisan push to lower school bus emissions nationwide.
Last year, five other school districts in South Dakota, including De Smet, Garretson, Hanson, Lower Brule Day School and Viborg-Hurley all received EPA rebates from this program.
