Augustana University in Sioux Falls has established a new master's-level program in social work to begin in fall 2025.

It is the second such program in the state and comes in partnership with Sanford Health.

Students with a bachelor's degree in a social work field can enter the program with advanced standing and finish the program in a year.

Students holding degrees in other fields can expect to finish the program within two academic years.
