Some roads are still inundated after June flooding swept across southeastern South Dakota. That has created a problem for local transit authorities.
In particular, many roads and homes in the McCook Lake remain inaccessible. So local officials are now releasing updated transit routes for school and local busses.
The school district is introducing programs to help faculty and parents find the most efficient route to and from school.
Some roads will require an escort to get to, including some that lead to homes.
A new water microbiology report is also available. Find an updated transit map at here.
