In June, historic rainfall caused massive flooding along the Big Sioux River. Some cities, including Sioux Falls and Vermillion, discharged partially treated wastewater into nearby rivers during the event.
We're going to explore how this may have impacted water quality in the Big Sioux River watershed with the nonprofit Friends of the Big Sioux River.
